Lakhbir Singh Landa, a Canadian mobster, has been designated as an “individual terrorist” by the MHA.

According to a report by the news agency ANI, Canada’s Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act has designated Canadian mobster and leader of Babbar Khalsa International Lakhbir Singh Langa as an “individual terrorist.”

The Khalistan Tiger Force chief Hardeep Singh Nijjar and Sikhs for Justice leader Gurpatwant Singh Pannu, among other pro-Khalistan Canadians, were said to be closely linked to Landa according to a Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) announcement.

The Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) agents Harwinder Singh Sandhu, alias “Rinda,” and Lakhbir Singh Sandhu, alias “Landa,” were among the five people the NIA proclaimed were wanted for information that led to their detention in September.

A cash reward of ₹10 lahks for Rinda and Landa and ₹5 lahks for Parminder Singh Kaira, also known as “Pattu,” Satnam Singh, also known as “Satbir Singh,” alias “Satta,” and Yadvinder Singh, also known as “Yadda,” was announced by the federal agency.

These five terrorists are wanted in connection with a complaint that was filed early this year on the BKI’s terrorist activities, which were intended to undermine India’s peace and communal harmony and sow terror in the state of Punjab, according to a National Investigation Agency (NIA) spokeswoman.

According to the source, investigations have revealed that the five terrorists have been actively involved in enticing new BKI members with financial rewards.
